He currently teaches at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. Dr. Reese founded Global Forest Science, a conservation institute which educates children about ecology. He is also a broadcaster and author of seven books including The Insatiable Bark Beetle (2011) and The Incomporable Honeybee (2010).
